We headed Marist High School, everyone was so nervous, questions like "How am I going to say hello to the family? just shake hands or a kiss like in Argentina?" or "I don't know what to say" were the main topic of student chatting. When we arrived at Marist (see Leandro? arrive AT a building and arrive IN a city) we went to the gym and met our hosts familys, my family is great, I feel like I'm home ( thank you Lesley family!!) I just can't stop laughing at Big Paul's jokes.
I was asked if I was hungry and the answer was definetly yes, we went to a waffle-place with a really creative name "Waffles", then the time for knowing my new home came, it is also great! I sleep in Little Paul's bedroom and his bed is SO comfortable, only then I understood why they said that he fall asleep in the mornings.
Later on I went to the "County Fair" with Alexa (My host) to buy some bread and vegetables, I took a shower and had Cynthia's food, amazing things just kept coming, that was the end of my day.
Funny Situation Of The Day: Everyone's faces when we were about to arrive at Marist, everyone was so nervous that they didnt knew what to do.
En Castellano: La primera vez que escuche un "SI" al "¿Ya llegamos?
Al fin!. Llegamos a O'Hare (Aeropuerto de Chicago) agarramos nuestras valijas y vi POR PRIMERA VEZ UN COLECTIVO AMARILLO, fue lo mas. Conocimos a Bro Patrick que fue muy amable con nosotros y hizo varios chistes que nos hicieron reír
Arranco el bondi y encaramos el camino al Marist High School, todo el mundo estaba nervioso, preguntas como "¿Cómo voy a saludar a la familia? Sólo les doy la mano o un beso igual que en Argentina?" o "No sé qué decir", fueron el tema principal de las conversaciones de todos. Cuando llegamos al colegio fuimos al gimnasio y conocimos a las familias de cada uno, mi familia es lo mas (Muchas gracias familia Lesley!) los chistes de Paul grande son muy buenos.
Me preguntaron si tenía hambre, y la respuesta fue definitivamente sí, fuimos a un lugar donde se comia con waffles con un nombre muy creativo "Waffles", despues de esto fui a conocer mi nueva casa, también es increible! Yo duermo en el cuarto de Paul Chiquito y su cama es muy cómoda, ahi pude entender lo que me decian que el se quedaba dormido a la mañana.
Más tarde fui a la "County Fair" con Alexa (Mi anfitrióna) para comprar pan y verduras, me duche y comi la comidade Cynthia, era demasiado rica, ese fue el final de mi día.
La Situacion Divertida del día: Las caras que pusieron todos cuando llegamos al colegio,estaban todos muy nerviosos y no sabian que hacer.
